This is way up at the tippy top with my list of best fanworks EVER. What a joyful thing.

I do a rather fun Femmie Four (It all started with a scarf).

Wowzers. This is a fabulous example of re-interpreting media, and so beautiful. Downloading, going to make some backgrounds out of it and figure out if I can arrange it poster-style!

re-interpreting media

What a nice way to put it. Thank you! I feel a little bad now that everyone who tries to print will have to figure out how to squoodge web-shaped images into paper formats. Hindsight, etc.

To think, I would have loved you for the mention of skeeball alone! (a vastly underrated game in this day of wiz-bang technology) But the rest! Imaginative and amazing. You're mind must be an interesting place indeed.

lol icon.
I haven't played skeeball since my childhood, but the sound and feel of it is imprinted on my memory. I like to think Four and Romana are, in one or another timeline, are playing in an arcade somewhere in New Jersey.

This is about the most amazing thing I've ever seen. You win ... um, all of Time, maybe?

I shall add both my thumbs to the plethora of thumbs-ups happening here. This is BRILLIANT.
May. 24th, 2010 08:27 pm (UTC)
I'm picturing like a thumb-collection now, all disembodied and arranged by size. Cheers!

This is one of the most beautiful things I have seen in fandom in YEARS. Wow.

Lol RTD. Or the moff. TERRIFYING THOUGHT. But cheers!
May. 24th, 2010 04:29 am (UTC)
Absolutely gorgeous. Consider my nerdy fandom and artistic sensibilities...overstimulated.
May. 24th, 2010 06:26 am (UTC)
I LOVE IT. It is gorgeous and beautiful and if I can find a way to get someone to make huge posters out of this for me so I can stick them all on my wall, I will. <3

let me make you do all the work
Cheers! I have no idea how to go about making prints available online, but if you have a printing place in your area, 11x17 copies should be relatively affordable. Or wheedle your way into a university printing lab and get it done for. Then again, I've always been a fan of doing things the hard-easy way.

You are awesome! By the time I got to Floor ⌷ I was like *flail*. I took the PDF for keeps!

Dear calvinahobbes,
Could you help me out? The PDF download link won't work for me. Could you please send me a copy, if possible? That would be wonderful if you could :)
So Long & Thanks For All the Fish,

oooh, shiny!

I love how the weird shapes give a sense of the utterly strange geometry/geography that would have to be involved

and the text and the naming of places and the bits where it goes Unknown

I'm sure the alignment works just perfectly on the Doctor's printers. Not your fault that we don't happen to have them on hand.
May. 24th, 2010 08:34 pm (UTC)
The Doctor's printers are above such paltry concerns as 'physically possible', true.

This is one of the most awesome things I have ever seen. I adore maps, and the quirkiness of this one is perfectly matched by its poignancy.
